Mike has been a part of the music industry in some aspect or another for 25+ years. From playing guitar and vocals in a number of rock/punk/pop bands, to working as a guitar tech and falling in love with sound and production; Mike's passion for music, ultimately led to completing his formal training in Audio Engineering and Sound Production at Metalworks; Canada's Premier Entertainment Arts School.
Although Mike has had the opportunity to work with talented artists such as Glass Tiger, Rex Goudie and Choclair - his true passion lies in working with up-and-coming artists and those seeking a more authentic sound in their recording and production.

What sets Mike apart, besides his natural talent for all things audio, is his transparent approach, genuine passion and an unwavering dedication to the vision of his clients. Being on both sides of the microphone has allowed Mike to really understand his artists' perspectives, keeping the focus on their project, and their story.

ABOUT CHASING HEROES
Chasing Heroes is a charismatic 4-piece melodic punk band, HQ’d in Hamilton, Ontario.
​
Hugely influenced by 90-2000’s era Punk from Fat Wreck and Epitaph, they’ve crafted their unique brand of entertainment that fuses fast guitar rhythms, melodic leads, driving bass, blazing drums and raw emotional vocals with relatable lyrical content. Not to mention, high energy and fun.
Chasing Heroes has crafted something that hits both the modern and nostalgic sweet spots.
The band is currently in studio recording their debut EP. Tentatively planned for summer of 2024.
